Dante: Don-tay, actually. But you're close.
Leon: Right, got it. I'm Leon. I'll be your support on this mission... and boy, is it odd being on this side of this conversation.
Dante: Usually the one in the field?
Leon: Oh yeah. You don't know the half of it.
Dante: Why am I here again?
Leon: Because if I have to suffer, so do you.
Dante: You know, I take it back. You are like the Vergil I used to know.
Leon: /dryly/ Flattery will get you nowhere.
Dante: Holding up okay?
Leon: These things take so many bullets, I'm going to raise our yearly ammo bill a digit or two single-handedly...
Dante calls Trish over on Leon's phone, they all sit and wait outside. Trish fries the place and Leon just gapes.
Leon: ...she shot lightning bolts out of her hand.
Dante: Oh yeah.
Leon: ...she shot lightning bolts out of her hand, Dante.
Dante: Yep.
Leon: Why is this a thing she can do? Did she spend some time in a lab?
Dante: ...I really gotta add that to the list of questions I have about you.
Dante: After our parents died, I thought you were dead. That's become a running theme in my life. I should stop being surprised when you turn up alive.
Leon: If I promise not to get mistaken for dead this time, will you stop looking like you're going to be the one that does it?
Dante: That's a running theme too.
Leon: What.
Leon: So you never answered. What is this Yamato?
Dante: It's a sword. Your sword, to be precise.
Leon: A sword... there's no way I'd carry one of those. Those things are unwieldy.
